Coat of Arms
[amf1v.gif)](../images/s/se%29amf1v.gif)contributed by Kristian Söderberg, 28 July 2005
In 2000, the Swedish Coastal Artillery regiments were converted into Amphibious regiments. The Royal Coastal Artillery Regiment of Vaxholm (KA 1) (Kungliga Vaxholms kustartelleriregimente] became the Royal Amphibious Regiment of Vaxholm (Amf 1) (Kungliga Vaxholms amfibieregimente).
The Coat of Arms was introduced the same year [2000].
Kristian Söderberg, 28 July 2005
The arms are obviously assumed from the Coast Artillery regiment to the Amphibious regiment.
Elias Granqvist, 30 July 2005
